When I think of March I tend to think of the color green. Why you may ask…well because of the new fresh grass/plants that are growing and also because of Saint Patricks Day of course. If you can’t tell by my super light skin I am very Irish and so is my daughter. One thing us pale girls can’t always pull of well is the color green. Now, I’m talking straight green like the color of fresh grass green. Whenever I wear that color I somehow look more pale then before, I don’t know how but it happens. So when I wear green it has to be an olive or army green… aka a darker green. I was able to find this light weight, tailored vest from Macy’s. It’s great for spring because its light and the perfect green! Springtime is a great time to wear vests. They are a great layering piece for a windy spring day.
Okay, real question…Do stripes ever go out of style? I personally don’t believe so. Pictured above my little and I are matching in our striped shirts. Mine has the elbow pads which I love and my littles has a nice hood which is perfect for a windy day. I find that in the spring sometimes it’s to warm to wear a hat, but still a little chilly…so having a sweater with a hood is perfect for those in between days.

**Okay so stripes are in as always and so is green! If you are like me and pale I recommend going with a darker green such as an army green. Lets be real, the army color looks great on all skin types!**
