Spring is just around the corner and I wanted to share some of my must have beauty items. From perfume to mascara I’ve finally landed on some items that I truly do love and that I’m proud to share with you all. So below I’ve broken down the six beauty items that I cannot live without this spring.

So mascara, I’ve bought drug store…I’ve bought high end and I really couldn’t tell the difference until I bought Bad Gal Lash! I love the thick wand and it is never clumpy. I’ve been using this brand for almost a year now and in mascara life that is a long time! This is a go to spring essential item for me because as a mom I need mascara to brighten my eyes and take away from the dark circles. I always feel naked without mascara.

Lipstick, I’m not usually a big fan of lipstick but ever since I tried the Bare Minerals lipstick I fell in love. Long lasting and many beautiful colors is what they offer. I’m a big fan of the brand and have been using their products for a while now, so this lipstick is definitely going to be added to my Bare Minerals collection. Adding a little lip color always gives my skin some glow which is much needed after a long winter.

Eyeshadow… Another Bare Minerals product but I have to share this one because it’s amazing! This compact has beautiful colors for spring and it’s perfect for eyeliner as well! Now, it is on the pricey side ($40.00) but totally worth every penny!

Perfume, Juicy, Juicy, Juicy enough said. Ever since I was in high school I have worn Viva La Juicy. I’m obsessed with the floral scent and just a hint of vanilla makes it the perfect spring scent. I love having the little bottle in my purse for a midday sprits after being covered in kiddy stink all day… It’s a nice change of smell.

Deodorant is a must because let’s get real I can sometimes get sweaty after chasing my little one in the hot sun all day. Recently, I’ve been turning a new leaf and have been trying some all natural things. So I really wanted a deodorant that was natural and that would last. I did some research and found this great smelling stuff! It’s called The Healthy Deodorant from Lavanilla. I love the scent and it goes on really nice. Also it’s organic!! I recommend putting it on after you take a shower and then before bed!

Lastly, the witch hazel. So with sun and heat comes sweating and for me the occasional breakout. Luckily, I’ve found this awesome rose petal witch hazel which has helped keep my skin fresh and pimple free even on those hot days! (A little back story… back when I was pregnant I had really bad acne because my daughter was stealing my beauty as legend says. Anyways I was very insecure about it. So I started using this organic rose petal witch hazel on my acne and it was like magic! Every time I would see a pimple come up I just put a little dab of it on and then boom it was gone!) Now, I do the same and sometimes will just rub a little all over my face. This stuff is awesome and definitely my best springtime beauty essential.

So there you have it my top six springtime beauty essentials that I love and need for the spring! Just remember we all are beautiful in our own way so embrace your uniqueness and let your beauty shine!

With love,

Maeve

I’ll have to try the witch hazel. Since getting pregnant my skin is out of control and I’ve tried switching to all natural magic and niw I just wear mascara due to how confused my skin is.

First, Congratulations on your pregnancy, that is so exciting! And I totally understand, my skin was awful when I was pregnant with my daughter. I started washing my face day and night with coconut oil and then I would apply the witch hazel after I washed my face. It definitely helped calm my acne down a lot. Hopefully this helps! Just remember every pimple is worth it for that beautiful baby and it will get better! 🙂
