Spread the LOVE

spread love

So I had originally planned this super cute blog post about mine and littles outfits and I was going to talk all about our exciting plans for Valentine’s Day and my birthday…but as I’m quickly learning life is so unexpected and plans change.

As if my family has not dealt with enough death recently from the passing of my niece, I was told yesterday that my uncle only has 48 hours to live. He has been battling cancer for about 8 months now. When he was first diagnosed we were all very positive and he was determined to win this battle. Unfortunately, cancer is a horrendous and unpredictable thing.

He did many cancer treatments and even had numerous surgeries to try and remove all the cancer. He fought so hard to try and beat it, but God had other plans. The most amazing and inspirational thing about my uncle was his faith. He never lost sight of God and his faith with God no matter what life threw at him. He was literally a disciple of God and told as many people as he could about his Lord and Savior. Every place that he went he was always a witness even in the hospital getting severe cancer treatments he would talk to his nurses and other staff about how great God is. Now, if that isn’t a true disciple I don’t know what is.

As his immediate family is now surrounding him with love my faithful uncle is about to go home to be with our Lord and Savior. I look at my uncles life and his dedication to God and think wow! I want to be able to spread love the way my uncle did. I want to spread the love of Jesus the way he did.

⚠️ So I encourage you all not only this Valentine’s Day but everyday make sure to spread love and Gods love no matter what life throws at you.

❤️ Maeve

I just wanted to let you know that you’re not alone with your quest for mantel satisfaction. I honestly know exactly what you mean and I appreciate the fact that you were able to share your rant with us. Nobody’s perfect and 24/7 healthy eating isn’t easy, especially not in today’s world, so remember to forgive yourself when you slip up. It’s wonderful that you’re conscious of it so that you can make progress but be kind to yourself as you self-improve. I, for one, definitely think you deserve it take care!
