OTK boots 4 Ways

otk-boots-4-ways

One of my favorite fall trends has to be the OTK boots. At first I was having a hard time finding the perfect pair because of two reasons. The first being that I am pretty short. The second reason was because I did not want to spend a ton of money.

I wasn’t sure if I wanted boots with a heel but I figured I would wear them more if they didn’t have a heel. So I decided to order a pair online from ASOS and luckily they worked out perfectly.

If you follow me on Instagram you have already seen that I am so in love with these boots. They fit like a glove and I can tie them in the back so that they hug my thighs perfectly. They also are not super long which is perfect for this shorty. And even better I stayed under my budget (of $100) because they are only $65!

So since I am so obsessed with these boots I decided to show you four different ways to style them. Between the obvious dresses and the more daring…shorts, here are my 4 favorite ways to wear these OTK boots.

OTK Boots + Dress

This one is very popular and is an easy way to wear any OTK boots. Throw on a super adorable dress, a sweater, your boots and you have the perfect fall outfit. You can pretty much wear any style dress (tight fit or flowy.) The OTK boots go with most knee length dresses.

I have paired my boots with this sleeveless plaid dress. Now that it is fall, plaid is a must. So when I found this plaid dress at Target I had to get it! I have linked this dress below.

OTK Boots + Skirt

This is my favorite outfit of the four. I love the flowy pleaded skirt with the tight boots. And the whole no white after labor day rule, totally threw that one out! I feel like I wear more white after labor day then I do in the beginning of the year. Big rule breaker over here.

I then paired this skirt (which I have linked below) with a comfy sweater to give this outfit a more casual feel. I love the way the boots pull this entire look together. This is the perfect date night attire!

OTK Boots + Jeans

I decided to go with a light wash denim because I love the contrast of the black boots against the light jean. They are also distressed which makes this outfit more casual. I love how effortless this outfit is and how comfy it is as well! I have linked a very similar style jean below!

OTK Boots + Shorts

So this was my more daring look because I have never worn OTK boots with short shorts and I think it turned out pretty cute, if I must say so myself! I decided to go with a shorter pair of shorts that way you could see more leg and it doesn’t look as choppy. (Similar shorts are linked below)

I then added a cute pull over sweater and tied a plaid shirt around the waist. The plaid shirt completes this outfit because it add some length to the outfit. I have also linked a very similar plaid shirt below!

Maeve
