I realize I am a little late on this post…okay maybe a week late but with traveling to NYC and Florida practically all in the same week, I took a little break from the blog. Getting recharged is always a much needed and nice break to take and during this break I was able to catch up on the latest Vogue issue.
I am going to be honest, often I skip over Vogue magazine because I cannot afford most things in the magazine and some of the styles are just out of this world. I could never pull them off. But I do like to occasionally take a peek at the different issues in the beginning of every season to see what is trending and what items I might like.
As I was reading the latest vogue issue they were talking about what colors were trending for the summer. Bright yellows, military green and then blues…are very popular. I was thrilled to see that so many different hues of blues are popular because if you follow me on Instagram most of my outfits contain at least one blue item.
Even though I will probably never wear a bright yellow piece I will definitely be wearing the many shades of blues. And this tossed print dress has all the perfect abstract shades of blue. The sheer fabric offers the perfect weight material for the summer and the adorable tie at the waist flatters any body type. As you can see I decided to tie it in the back creating a more fitting look in the front but the tie can go in either the front or back.
Also the one shoulder is currently trending for the summer and the added flutter sleeve is just a bonus. This gorgeous dress is from a company called Cuddy Studios. The designers are inspired by the geometric art of both the sixties and seventies. The awesome thing about this company is that each print you see on their clothes is an original hand cut artwork. Each fabric is digital printed with the artwork.
With bold patterns and bright colors trending for the summer you are definitely going to want to check out Cuddy Studios. They have the most unique prints and their items are literally artwork!
