Cowl Neck Sweaters & Sequin Skirts

- Fashion, Lifestyle

Hey friends!

So I wanted to show one last Christmas look before everyone gets super busy with all the fun holiday activities. This outfit is a bit more dressy then the other sweater look that I showed you earlier in the week, but it would be perfect for a holiday party or even a New Years Eve Party!

This year I didn’t have many parties to attend before Christmas but I have quite a few parties the week before New Years. So this outfit is great because it can be worn for any upcoming parties. And it is perfect for a NYE party because of the sequin skirt.

I feel like it is a rule to wear sequins this time of the year. Sometimes sequins can look a little tacky and that is why I like to stick with the classic black and white. Below, I have linked two of my favorite black and white sequin skirts that I am totally obsessing over at the current moment. They both would look perfect with an oversized sweater. You could do maroon like I did or even switch it up with a cream or black sweater.

I decided to pair this sequin skirt with a cowl neck sweater. I have always been a big fan of the cowl neck because it acts like a scarf and as you all know, I am all about my scarves. The cowl neck adds a little more detail to any sweater and gives it a cozier feel. I have linked two adorable cowl neck sweaters below, both are under $30!

Lastly, lets talk about tights. I am a huge tight wearer in the winter. 1. because they hide my extreme paleness and 2. because they keep my legs warm. The winters here are pretty cold so you will never catch me showing my bare legs during this time of the year. Also tights are great because they are super cheap and you can just pitch them once you’re done wearing them!

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you all have an amazing Christmas!

With Love,

Maeve & the Little One 🙂
